Tamika Strader is looking at the childhood home of Victoria Strader and shakes her head. It’s a disaster after Outcast had visited Veronica. The neighbours weren’t exactly pleased, but the Matriarch brought out the chequebook and made them not so angry. The police in London were of the variety “make a big enough donation to the Policeman's ball,” and they turn the other cheek. It cost Tamika a pretty penny, but money wasn’t a concern for anyone in the family, especially with the empire she still sees dividends from with her ex-husband, Simon Kalis, the father of her son, Lil’Scottie Kalis-Strader. The OCW camera is on location and starts filming her from behind as she looks over the damage.
“This business never ceases to amaze me on how personal people can take things. When Megz and I stepped into the ring one last time at BWF’s WrestleFest, winning back the tag team titles we had never lost. It made me remember when we showed up in the BWF for the first time, laying out the tag team champions, spray painting the belts with ‘CFH’ and Gabe Shelley losing his mind, crying to Blazenwing.”
“Or like most recently with my niece Victoria doing what she did to Veronica and her goal to make Outcast’s life an absolute living hell.”
Hands placed firmly above the hips on her waist, she turns around to face us, the Strader Sneer across her face.
“I know what you are thinking “but Meeks, didn’t you team up with Victoria to take out Outcast?” and you are right, I did, but it was because my friend and stablemate, the former OCW Champion Killa Kali, tried to get one up on Outcast. It didn’t work, obviously, but it was never personal.”
“What is personal is my distaste for the OCW TransAtlantic Champion. Since my niece lost that title, it’s been on a downward trajectory. Like I had done with the Craze title, Ronnie made the TA one of the most, if not THE most, respected championships in the industry, holding onto it for six months with the most defences in its history when people like the yum-yum Mack O’Connor, Vhodka Black and Betsy Granger had held it.”
“Sahara took a big stinky poop on it, door wide open at a Rally’s. If you are gonna do that, at least make it classy and do it at Mcdonalds'! Anyway, getting off track… Sahara and Thaddeus spit all over the history of the company he owns and claims to have a deep respect for. Action after action proves the exact opposite.”
“Monday, I am gonna step into the ring against Too Much Zeus. Just like when I faced that lifted pickup truck connoisseur Justin York, I am gonna walk with the victory. However, I guarantee they won’t be piledriving me into the steel rampway.”
“My sister and my nieces have their catchphrase, you all know it, and while that’s not usually my thing… it fits right now. I am gonna get my shot at the TA title for Face Off before I leave Massacre on Monday, and when I do… Sahara… I want you to remember something….”
Tamika looks to the ground and back upwards, slowly, the Sneer burning through the lens.
“God shits with the door closed.”
“I don’t.”
